Votre voyage de 2 jours au fil du Mékong commence vers 10 heures du matin depuis l’embarcadère de Cai Be.
Des votre installation à bord d’une des jonques Cai Be Princess, vous serez accueillis par l’équipage qui prendra soin de vous tout au long du voyage.
Le programme démarre par la visite du très colore marche flottant de Cai Be. Nous nous faufilerons entre les barges chargées de fruits, légumes et denrées diverses provenant de toutes les provinces du delta. Plus en avant, un arrêt en route pourra être effectué afin d’observer la fabrication artisanale de la pate de riz, et autres spécialités du sud vietnam (caramels de coco, confiseries a base de riz souffle, …).

Arrêt pour déjeuner au “Longanier”, très jolie villa à l’architecture indochinoise située dans une luxuriante plantation en bordure de rivière.
En début d’après-midi, vous retrouverez votre sampan qui s’engagera peu a peu dans les profondeurs du delta. Découverte des ilots verdoyants de Dong Hoa Hiep et de An Binh en direction de Vinh Long. Durant cette journée vous découvrirez un peu plus du mode vie de la population rurale au grés des divers arrêts qui seront effectues sur les berges; une jolie maison de Mandarin datant de la fin du 19e, la fabrication des toitures en feuilles de palmiers tressees, le décorticage des longanes (fruits), la pêche a l’épervier, le plus important centre de stockage de riz du delta…

Votre sampan poursuivra sa route vers Vinh Long empruntant le canal Dong Phu. Le rythme nonchalant de la croisière vous permettra d’apprécier la beauté des paysages, croisant tour à tour de nombreuses barges et petites embarcations. Ces ilots du Mékong sont luxuriants tout au long de l’année, quadrilles par d’innombrables canaux et arroyos qui les irriguent abondamment au rythme des marées quotidiennes.
Arrêt à une plantation fruitière aux abords de My Thuan et visite.
La journée de croisière s’achèvera à An Binh, ilot proche de Vinh Long. Débarquement et installation chez l’habitant dans une demeure traditionnelle en bordure de rivière. (Maison Mai Quoc Nam ou Muoi Huong)

Reste de la journée consacre à la détente dans un cadre paisible et romantique.

JOUR 2 : AN BINH – VINH LONG – SA DEC

Apres le petit déjeuner, vous embarquerez a bord de votre sampan Cai Be Princess afin de poursuivre votre voyage au fil du Mékong…

Une fois sortis de l’ilot de An Binh nous nous engagerons sur la très large rivière Co Chien, l’un des plus importants bras du fleuve Mékong. Nous empreinterons alors un petit canal aux paysages bucoliques. Sur les bas cotés, vous pourrez observer de nombreuses plantations de jacinthes d’eau. Visite sur la berge d’une très ancienne demeure de mandarin. Plus en avant, des fumées sombres nous signalent la proximité de briqueteries artisanales ou nous ferons un arrêt afin de découvrir le procède de fabrication ancestral. Vers 13h00, nous arrivons à Sa Dec, ville ressemblant à une “petite Venise orientale”, avec ses nombreux canaux surplombés de petits ponts.

Vous débarquerez sur la rive gauche ou s’active le marché central très coloré et animé.

Votre déjeuner vous sera servi dans l’ancienne demeure de Mr Huyen Thuy Le, jadis « l’Amant » de Marguerite Duras…

Commencera une visite pédestre de Sa Dec: ses ruelles étroites bordées de frangipaniers ou demeurent d’anciennes maisons d’architecture française. Visite de temples chinois et Dinh datant du siècle dernier, ainsi que de l’ancienne école des filles de M. Duras.

L’excursion se terminera à Sa Dec vers 15h30. Il sera alors temps de reprendre votre véhicule pour le retour sur Saigon ou poursuivre le voyage vers une autre destination.

Morning pick up you at 08:00 am transfer to Cai Be where you will embank the Song Xanh Sampan , the excursion starts from Cai Be town pier at around 10.00 am. you will be welcomed with fresh cotton towels.After your installation, the cruise will begin with the visit of Cai Be colorful floating market cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables.Visits will be made at an ancient mandarin house dating from 1890 where you will we welcomed by the owner.  Another stop at some local home factories will allow you to observe how rice paste, coconut candies and other specialties are traditionally made.  We will proceed to Phu An hamlet, an untouched beautiful area reflecting some of the best sights the Mekong Delta can offer. A delicious lunch will await you at “Le Longanier”, a superb Indochinese villa located by the river, in a lush tropical garden surrounded by fruit plantations.After lunch, your sampan will proceed to Sa Dec via Vinh Long, cruising by Dong Phu and An Binh islets famous for their fruit orchards. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River bring about large networks of meandering rivers, criss-crossed with countless arroyos, and remaining unknown to many people. Crossing the large Co Chien River we will pass under the spectacular My Thuan Bridge. On the banks, some dark smokes in the sky will lead us to one of the largest artisanal bricks and tiles factory where you will have an interesting visit. Further, Sa Dec town will appear like a little “Venice” with numerous narrow canals…You will disembark for a guided visit of this charming and peaceful town, walking along its narrow streets where beautiful French old houses and Chinese temples dating from the last century are numerous… You will visit the local market and the Trung Vuong primary school where well known writer Marguerite Duras spent her childhood (see her famous novel turned into the movie “The Lover”).  Back on board your sampan, you will enjoy a romantic dinner served on the deck during the sunset.First night on the Mekong river…

Day 2: Sac De – Long Xuyen – Cho Moi (B,L,D)

The breakfast will be served on board at 07am.Your Sampan will slowly leave Sa Dec and proceed the cruise upstream the river to Long Xuyen, a peaceful provincial town located on the Mekong’s banks. We will pass by several luxuriant islands, crossing countless sampan boats carrying sand, rice, fruits and vegetables, fishes, showing an intense activity on the river. Approaching Long Xuyen, your lunch will be served on board. Later, you will have a quick tour of Long Xuyen  typical center before cruising further to “Cu Lao Ong Ho” (The Tiger Island) for a visit at Ton Duc Thang museum, second president of Vietnam…We will proceed upstream on the Mekong river to Chau Doc. Some stops on the banks will be possible for cycling tours to discover deeper the inhabitants life style. In the evening, we will organize for you an exciting experience in a village located in the suburbs of Cho Moi, where your dinner will be arranged at some typical local house. You will be able to share experiences with family members and learn about traditional Southern Vietnam lifestyle, one of the highlights of your journey on the Mekong which should not be forgotten! Back on board your private sampan for your second night on the river.

Day 3: Cho Moi – Chau Doc (B)

Early morning, your breakfast will be served on board while we will be cruising to Chau Doc.We will cruise on a beautiful river, little arm of the Mekong, where several traditional activities can be observed on the banks (artisanal boat factories, bamboo baskets making, palm leaves cutting, net fishing), as well as old Vietnamese temples dating from late 19th century. We will be cruising the Bassac river before entering Chau Doc. The town is famous for its floating fish farming villages, floating markets and Cham villages, an ancient Muslim ethnic population with their kingdom covering Cambodia and south Vietnam during the 10th century. Located on the upper Mekong Delta, Chau Doc town is 280 km (174 miles) south-west of Ho Chi Minh City close to the Cambodian border. With such proximity to Cambodia, the local population is an eclectic mix of Cham, Khmer, Chinese and Vietnamese, sharing different cultures and historical richness. Your cruise journey will end before noon in Chau Doc where you will be pick up and transfer to hotel. Overnight in hotel in Chau Doc

Day 4 : Chau Doc – Phnom Penh (B)

After breakfast, we transfer to boat pier for deparutre to Phnom Penh by speed boat (leave 7.00 am, arrive Phnom Penh ~ 12.00). End of tour.

8h00: Acceuil a votre hotel, Départ à Ha Long ville
12h00: Arrivée au port publique. Notre équipage vous y accueillera. Un petit transfert en bateau (20 minutes). Goûter un cocktail sur le pont du bateau pour reprendre l’esprit réveillé. Après l’enregistrement, prendre le déjeuner au restaurant. Contemplation des centaines îles et découvrir la poche inépuisable de la Baie d’ Ha Long et les îles lointaines. Visite du Village de pêche flottant Cua Van. Natation à la mer Kayak ou près du flanc. Jeter l’ancre à Hang Trong ( Grotte de l’Homme), là où  vous convoiterez à manger à cause d’une démonstration de cuisine. Après la chute du jour, dîner au restaurant. Rencontrer notre groupe et apprendre la façon de pêcher des seiches avant le retour à votre chambre pour dormir.

Jour 2 : Aube à Ha Long – Départ
Se lever tôt pour jouir l’aube à la Baie d’Ha Long et jouer Tai Chi sur les bandes en plein air. Au restaurant de Emeraude cruises, déguster un buffet européen. Emeraude cruises part pour contempler  encore une fois la nature magnifique de la Baie et se tourne vers le port public Ha Long. Départ et vérification, transfert en bateau-bus pour aller au port public Ha Long.
10h00: Arrivée au quai Ha Long. Temps libre et déjeuner jusqu’à 12h00. Transfert pour retourner à Ha Noi.
16h00: Fin du service à  votre hôtel.
